Community rules
Everyone on SoulMates Quest agrees to these rules. Breaking them can lead us to remove content or restrict or close an account.
- Treat people with respect: no harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking or exploitation.
- No illegal, hateful, sexual or violent content, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
- Never ask anyone for money, and don't offer or promote commercial or sexual services, adverts or spam.
- Be yourself: no fake profiles and no impersonation. SoulMates Quest is for people aged 18 or over.
- Respect privacy: don't share another person's private information without their consent, and don't try to identify members or see information you are not allowed to see.
- Don't scrape, copy or overload the service, or try to bypass its security or limits.
The full rules are in our Terms of Use.
1. If you are in immediate danger
Contact local emergency services now: 112 in the EU and the UK (999 also works in the UK). Then tell us, if you can.
2. Reporting another member
On the member's profile or in your conversation, choose Report or block, pick the reason that fits best, add details if you like, and send. The member is not told who reported them. A copy of the profile as you see it and, in a conversation, your latest messages with them are saved securely with your report.
3. A member who may be under 18
Choose the reason Under 18, or email us (section 9). We aim to review these reports first and may restrict the account while we look into it [to be confirmed]. If a child may be at risk, contact the police. Please do not send us images of a child: tell us where you saw them instead. Reporting hotlines: [to be confirmed]
4. Harassment, threats and non-consensual content
Report it with Harassment or bullying or Inappropriate photos, and block the member. If someone shares or threatens to share intimate images of you without your consent, report it to us and to the police. Support services: [to be confirmed]
For fake profiles or anyone asking for money, use Fake profile or scam.
5. Illegal content
Anyone, including people without an account, can report content on SoulMates Quest that they believe is illegal, by email (section 9). Please include where the content is (a link, the name shown or the quiz link), why you believe it is illegal, and your name and email address so we can reply [to be confirmed].
6. Blocking and keeping evidence
When you block a member, you will not be matched with each other again and neither of you can message the other. Any open connection between you ends.
Before you block someone or delete your account, consider sending a report: it keeps a secure copy of the profile and your latest messages. Deleting your account removes your matches and conversations. You can also keep your own screenshots.
Reports and the evidence saved with them are kept for 12 months from submission, then deleted automatically.
7. What happens after a report
A member of our team reviews it [to be confirmed]. We may remove content, or restrict or close an account. If we act on a member's content or account, we tell them what we decided and why, and how to ask us to look again [to be confirmed].
8. Confidentiality
We do not tell a member who reported them, but the details of a report can sometimes make that clear. We may share information with the police or other authorities where the law requires it. For privacy reasons, we cannot tell you what action we took on another person's account.
